Choose collection around your holiday plans
Think about whether you need a car as soon as you land or only for part of your stay. Airport collection may suit a trip with frequent drives, while the Sliema Hotels search option lets you check a different pickup area. Compare availability for the dates you actually need, and review the handover arrangements before committing.
Check the handover address carefully
The Sliema Hotels location in the booking search represents a collection area. It does not mean a rental counter exists at your accommodation or that every hotel can receive a delivery. Confirm the exact meeting point, the contact instructions and any additional cost. Share accurate arrival details with the provider when requested.
Match your car to your accommodation and luggage
Before selecting a vehicle, ask your accommodation about parking and access. A compact car may be worth considering if it fits your group and bags, but the right choice depends on the actual category details. Check the transmission and luggage allowance in the results. If you prefer an automatic, compare the options described in our automatic car hire guide.
Plan an outing beyond your base
Make each driving day purposeful: choose the places you want to visit, look at the route and allow room for stops. You might spend one day around historic inland towns and another along the coast. Check current parking signs at each stop. Keep your return arrangements handy so the final handover fits comfortably with your onward plans.
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Before you book
Does Sliema Hotels mean delivery to my hotel?
Not automatically. The provider must confirm the handover location, procedure and any delivery charges for your reservation.
Can I return at the airport after pickup in Sliema?
Use the different return location option and select Malta International Airport. Check the resulting availability, arrangements and charges.
Should I rent for my whole stay?
Compare your itinerary and accommodation parking with the cost of the rental period. Choose the dates when you actually want access to a car.
